The Abu Dhabi Film Festival has announced the second cycle of the Sanad Fund grant recipients for 2013, and eight Arab filmmakers will receive post-production and development grants for their projects. Among them is Samir with his documentary feature «Iraqi Odyssey» - receiving a postproduction grant.
Sanad awards $500,000 each year to Arab filmmakers in the development or post-production phase of their films. The winners, who were chosen out of 93 applicants, also attend co-production meetings designed to promote partnerships with the grantees and producers, sales agents, distributors and others involved in film.
