A shopping centre in the region of Berne organises a Dream Couple Contest 1998. The prize for the winning couple is a wedding, to be held in the shopping centre, a gift that will include the brides complete trousseau. A comedy of sales promotion in which the characters require cunning and negotiating know-how, in which values must compromise with the needs of self-promotion, and in which all resistance is ultimately overcome. A lightning tour of a world where all is not what it seems, and genuine and fake are as hard to tell apart as identical twins.
