35 years ago, MARIA abandoned her newborn at a baby window. Decades later, she tracks her daughter down and meets CAROLINE for the first time. An increasingly intimate yet fragile relationship develops between the two, which is constantly challenged by expectations and quiet accusations. Despite their difficulties, the two women stick together - until the result of a DNA test is revealed.
